The FTSE Women Leaders Review was published in February 2025 and shares insight and progress in delivering gender balance across the FTSE 350 and the UK’s top50 private companies.
British business continues to lead the way in increasing women’s representation at the highest levels with the FTSE 350 reporting a year-on-year increase with women holding 43% of Board roles and 35% of leadership positions. The 50 largest private companies are keeping pace with the FTSE 100 companies with women’s representation in leadership roles, now at37% and well within reach of the 40% target, but there is work to do to move the proportion of women on boards beyond 31%
