The FTSE Women Leaders Review was published on 27 February 2024 and shares insight and progress in delivering gender balance across the FTSE 350 and the UK’s top 50 private companies. The headline results are encouraging – Just over half of the FTSE 350 has reached the target, around 50% have already achieved or are well on their way to achieving gender balance. Women’s representation is now at 42% on FTSE 350 Boards, having exceeded the target ahead of the 2025deadline. The focus is now appropriately on strengthening the pipeline of women in executive leadership roles, especially CEO and CFO and stepping stone roles. The type of search mandates that Sapphire relishes.
